During our recent stay at Yamamoto Ryokan, we experienced a truly wonderful level of Japanese hospitality. The staff made us feel right at home, and their friendliness and warmth were truly memorable. The room was spacious enough for us, and we appreciated the separate area that helped insulate us from any noise in the corridor. The traditional Ryokan clothing provided added to the authentic experience. In terms of location, the Ryokan was conveniently situated, just a short walk from Kiyomisu-dera and with easy access to the central station. The women's public bath was a highlight, with its cleanliness and well-equipped changing area. our stay was special and we would like to express our gratitude.

During my Christmas stay, I was impressed with the hospitality and friendliness of the staff. They catered to our needs and even provided a jug of cold water in our room every night. The traditional Japanese public bath and showers were a highlight of our stay, providing a relaxing experience. The location was central and convenient, being just a short walk away from a long strip of shops and department stores.

The facility was a bit dated and could use some renovation. Some areas, like the bedroom and corridors, looked worn out.

Spending Christmas in this traditional Japanese hotel was an unforgettable experience. The staff was incredible - they were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We were given excellent directions and tourist maps that made exploring the area a breeze. The location was perfect - close to the sights we wanted to see and situated in an area that felt like a peaceful escape from the city. The shared facilities were adequately clean and the traditional Japanese breakfast served was scrumptious.

The one issue we had was with the shared facilities, which were occasionally crowded, and having no private bathrooms was inconvenient. It took some getting used to, but we managed. the experience was amazing and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience traditional Japanese hospitality.
